Day 67: Boat (3rd Person)
Seth held tightly onto the railing as he watched the rough sea. The top of the waves foamed white before they crashed against the boat, causing the massive vessel to rock. With each jerk the boat gave, Seth's stomach heaved in response. He couldn't wait to be on solid ground again.
"I can't believe it! We're going home!" Landon said, throwing his arms in the air. Seth looked up and saw Landon's eyes were red from crying, but he had a huge grin on his face. "Home! America!" He wrapped his arms around Seth and gave him a tight hug.
"L-Landon," Seth said quickly, trying to keep everything in his stomach down. Landon let go and sheepishly rubbe

Day 66: Memories
A man trekked carefully between the trees, occasionally grabbing onto one when he slipped. The dirt had become slippery mud from a week's worth of rain, but he was determined to get to the creek. He hadn't been here in at least a decade.
He came to a spot where the ground suddenly dropped in a miniature cliff. He leaped down, his feet landing on smooth stones. In front of him a velvet stream glided over the white rocks. Smiling, he sat down on the bank, picking up a rock and rolling it in his hand. He remembered spending most of his childhood here. Whenever his dad was angry, he would come to the creek to escape the shouting. Whenever his mo

Day 65: Garden
Enclosed in a stone face was a beautiful, lush garden. There were herbs, berries, and flowers organized in rows so they were easily accessible. On the back porch sat buckets filled with harvests that would later be used for cooking. Though this garden seemed glorious, half of it contained poisonous herbs that were meant to kill.
"Aria!" A voice called as a hard knock echoed through the living room. The middle-aged woman sighed as she slowly stood up from her chair. She had been reading, but now she had to attend to whoever was knocking at her door. She put on a kind smile as she turned the knob, opening the door.
"Yes?" She said with a swee

Day 64: Adventure
"Let's go on an adventure!" Jake shouted. He was dressed in a pirate outfit that was a few sizes too big for him and wore an eyepatch backwards, but he didn't notice. He waved a wooden sword back and forth while bouncing up and down in front of the door. He looked up at a robot that was made completely out of copper, which was why her name was Copper.
"We can go into the woods and defend our land!" Copper said. Jake squealed in delight before bolting out the door. Copper stepped outside and tried to run after him, but her gears weren't moving fast enough. Instead, she had to walk briskly towards the treeline. Jake had already made it to a th
The man stumbled upon the black stone that covered the ground. His breathing was ragged and quick while his heart raced in his chest. His eyes darted from one volcanic mountain to another, a feverish gleam in them. His clothes were soaked in sweat from the sweltering heat the volcanoes were producing, but he loved it. However, his human body seemed unable to take it. Large beads of sweat were trickling down his back and the edges of his vision were black. His throat was dry with thirst, but he wouldn't give in. This blazing heat, the smell of ash, the sight of black rocks and magma - it was familiar to him. "Home," he rasped out.
His body be

Overcoming Death
Breathe in, breathe out. Breathe in, breathe out. Inhale, exhale. Inhale, exhale.
When the most basic function in the human body becomes hard to preform, you know your time is running out. This was the case for young Isabel, who was only sixteen years old. She was laying in a hospital bed, fighting against death, but she could feel it coming. Each breath was a painful struggle that left her with little energy. She rarely felt hunger gnawing at her stomach, and when she did manage to eat, it came back up. The signs were obvious; her life was coming to an end, even if everyone around her was in denial.
"Your time isn't over yet," Isabel's mot
I'm currently trying out acrylic paint, but I'm still only a beginner. When I'm not drawing or writing, I'm either doing schoolwork or exploring Japan. I will often post photos taken during these Japan adventures.
I have a beta fish (Garnet) and a dawrf hamster (Yuki), as well as the family dog (Loki, an American Bulldog).
